I bought a house in Dracut in 2013, and when I moved in I received a welcome bag with a Sylvester Electric water bottle. I figured I would keep them in mind as I needed to eventually have the fuse panel replaced with a breaker panel. Fast forward about a year, and I get some line damage from another contractor putting in some insulation. Scott from Sylvester Electric came right out, assessed the damage, and we quoted the repair work, the panel replacement, and some additional grounding to get the house up to code. (Scott also pointed out some safety issues with the panel that were missed by the home inspector.)
Can’t say enough about Joe. Had some short circuits throughout the house and things were going haywire. I didn’t have a clue what was going on. Joe came over the next day and took the time to explain everything he was doing. It’s rare to see a person, let alone an electrician there to do a job, take the time to explain what they’re doing. up Everything is running smoothly now! Great communication from start to finish! Gave Joe a call around 4:30 PM to make an appointment to replace a doorbell transformer. He answered right away and told me he would be in my area. He came over a few hours later, I explained what I needed and why. He grabbed his tools, did some testing and told me I didn’t need to replace anything. He could have just replaced the transformer, make a few bucks and I would still be struggling with my issue. Stand up guy. I will definitely be calling him again for my other electrical projects.
